Visit Lake Tekapo and get sexy in the hot pools
Head through Canterbury Plains, cross the Rakai River at the gorge bridge and cruise towards Lake Tekapo. Check out Methven, a bloody gorgeous ski town where you can park up your campervan, go mountain biking, hiking, fishing and more. Bloody gorgeous mate.
Alright, time to hit the road towards beautiful Lake Tekapo. I rented a cabin there with my gf a couple years back. There were these ducks that wouldn’t leave us alone. Perhaps because I kept feeding them bread & red wine. Oh how I miss those gorgeous bastards.
During your stay in Lake Tekapo, I recommend checking out the Tekapo Springs. Located along Lakeside Drive, the springs are just perfect for relaxing and taking in the views.
Head south towards Omaramo & Mount Cook
After relaxing your lazy ass in Lake Tekapo, it’s time to hop back in your Wicked Camper and head south towards Omarama. On your way down, take a short detour to Aoraki Mount Cook.
As you probably know, Mount Cook is New Zealand’s highest mountain. It’s another breathtaking sight and if you don't stop here on your roadtrip, you're naughty. Stay in the luxury Hermitage hotel and spoil yourselves, ya’ll deserve it.
Despite the sometimes difficult conditions, Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park is an exceptionally beautiful place to visit. You don’t have to be a mountaineer to interact with the stunning scenery; there' heaps of alpine walks beginning near the village, all about three hours return. Yaaay, walking!
Freeze your ass off on a Glacier tour before crusin’ to Omarama
Make sure you take a boat tour to the Tasman Glacier. She’s a bloody beauty. It’s absolutely freezing, but for $20 or something (I can’t really remember), you can go out on a boat wearing an awesome rain jacket and Versace gloves. The tour guide takes you right up to the glacier where you can sample the ice. Sneak in a bottle of vodka and you’re set.
Ok time to hit the road again baby. Take the drive to Lake Ohau, offering magical views with a backdrop of the Southern Alps. When you get to Omarama, you’ll discover a small town with a large statue of a merino sheep. She looks so sexy, I could admire her for days.
Seriously though, there’s plenty to check out in Omarama, including golf, horse riding, fly fishing, hiking etc. etc. Definitely a cool place to check out.
Get snappy with your camera on the way to Dunedin
Discover Lake Benmore, Lake Aviemore and Lake Waitaki on you're campervan trip to Dunedin. The winding roads travel through the gorgeous landscapes of the Waitaki Valley, alongside the Waitaki River. Head towards Kurow & Duntroon, with views of the Pacific Ocean in the distance.

Keep heading down to Katiki Point and you’ll discover sexy seals and sexy penguins, smoking that fine Kush near the Moeraki Lighthouse.
Arrive in Dunedin, a preserved Victorian and Edwardian city, plus the world’s fifth largest city (in geographical size). Look out for the Northern Royal Albatross…you guessed it, they’re sexy mother fuckers.
